How to remove and install Spindle on Chrysler Laser?

Remove the rear hub/drum and inspect the axle for damage. If damaged, replace it. Disconnect the parking brake cable and rear brake line if needed. Remove the four backing plate bolts and lift off the brake assembly and spindle, marking any spindle shims. To reinstall, position the shim(s), spindle, and brake assembly, and tighten the bolts in a criss-cross pattern. Install the hub/drum, bleed the brakes, and adjust the parking brake.
