To replace the windshield wiper motor the first step is to remove the cable of the negative terminal. Thirdly, unscrew the wiper arm retaining nuts, the right wiper arm has two nuts while the right has one only. Remember to locate the position of the wiper arm to its shaft before removing it while the removal of the cowl cover is made next. Pull a tab to open the slide lock, press on the release tab and remove the electrical connection to the windshield wiper motor. Disconnect the clip of the right wiper drive link socket bushing placed on the ballstud of the wiper motor crank arm by using a flat blade trim removal tool screwdriver and the same to the sleeve bushing of the left wiper drive link.
