- Q: How do you remove and install the intake manifold on high output on Dodge Neon?A: High output models have a two-piece intake manifold, and the manifold has to be removed as a whole assembly. The MTV is placed in the lower intake manifold. If required, the lower intake manifold can be detached from the upper intake manifold when the assembled one is detached from the engine. Start out by reducing pressure in the fuel system and then, turning the cable off from the car's negative terminal.
