How to Remove and Install the Heater or AC Evaporator Core on Jeep Wranglers?

To remove the heater core, disconnect the negative battery cable, heater hoses, refrigerant lines, control cables and defroster duct. Remove the instrument panel and housing attaching nuts. To remove the evaporator core, discharge the air conditioning system, disconnect the battery cable, inlet and receiver/drier-to-evaporator hoses, and remove the retaining screws, hose clamps, and dash grommet. Install the parts in reverse order and check for proper operation.
