- Q: Where is the MAP Sensor Located on Ram 3500?A: On 3.6L V6, MAP sensor is on top of intake manifold. On 3.7L V6 and 4.7L V8, it's in front. Disconnect electrical connector, remove mounting screw, and sensor from manifold. Inspect 0-ring for cracks, tears, and deterioration. For HEMI, MAP sensor is on front of intake manifold air plenum box. For diesel, it's on top of intake manifold. Remove 0-ring and inspect. Install by placing in position, inserting into mounting hole, and turning 1/4-turn clockwise.
