The antenna, integrated into the rear window glass, must be replaced by a professional if faulty. For sedans, the antenna module is inside the right C-pillar. Remove the C-pillar trim, disconnect the two module connectors and the coaxial cable, then remove the module. Reinstall in reverse order. For wagons, the module is inside the liftgate. Remove the trim panel, disconnect the two module connectors and the coaxial cable, then remove the module. Reinstall in reverse order.

The antenna module is mounted on the inside of the right C-pillar on sedans.

1. Remove the rear seat back. 2. Remove the grab handles and coat hooks from the sides of the headliner. 3. Remove the quarter trim panels. 4. Use a trim panel tool to carefully pry the plastic retainers from the roof panel at the rear edge of the headliner. 5. Disconnect the antenna module lead from the antenna grid terminal on the rear glass and detach the lead from the slot in the roof panel. 6. Disconnect the wire harness electrical connector from the antenna module. 7. Remove the module mounting nut and slide the module out from the welded stud on the left end. 8. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.

To remove the antenna module from sedans, the right upper C-pillar trim should be removed. Then, the two antenna module electrical connectors should be disconnected from the antenna grid, and the antenna coaxial cable and electrical connector should be disconnected from the module. Finally, the antenna module mounting bolt should be removed and the module can be taken out.
