- A:Loosen rear wheel lug nuts, raise vehicle and support on jackstands. Remove rear wheels, muffler support bracket and rear exhaust pipe hanger. Support rear crossmember with jack and block. Remove clips for wheel speed sensor cable and nuts/bolts attaching lateral links to knuckles. Remove bolts attaching rear crossmember to frame rails. Lower rear crossmember, lateral arms and stabilizer bar. Remove upper control arm mounting bolts. Installation is reverse of removal.
