    Remove the radio and heater/air conditioning control bezel assembly from the instrument panel. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the back of the heater/air conditioning control assembly. On models with automatic temperature control, also disconnect the additional electrical connector for the infrared sensor. Remove the mounting fasteners at each corner and then remove the control assembly from the bezel.

    Through the glove compartment opening, disconnect the air conditioning vacuum line connector and the radio noise capacitor connectors. Remove the trim cover from the left windshield pillar and the trim cover from the left lower side cowl. Remove the attaching screws from the hood release handle mechanism. Remove the trim covers from the steering column and disconnect the connecting rod from the parking brake release mechanism.
