Support and lower the front cross-member to have access to the U-joint. Mark it before taking off the U-joint from the intermediate shaft. The power steering lines can be detached to remove the Rack And Pinion. Also, there is a need to reattach the U-joint and reinstall the Rack And Pinion. Finally, reconnecting the power steering lines, raising the cross member as well as attaching tie rod ends, and installing wheels follow. Resealing of the U-joint will be performed as well as a front-end alignment and test for leaks.
