- A:To replace the front brake hose, loosen the wheel lug nuts and remove the wheel. At the caliper end, remove the banjo fitting bolt and separate the hose from the caliper. Install the new hose by attaching the hose bracket to the steering knuckle, connecting the fitting to the caliper, and pushing the metal support into the frame bracket. Connect the brake line fitting and tighten it securely. For the rear brake hose, follow the same steps.
