Electric rear view mirrors utilize two motors for adjustments, one for vertical movement and another for horizontal movement, both integrated into the mirror assembly and not serviceable. The control switch on the driver's door panel directs voltage to either the left or right mirror. With the ignition ON but the engine OFF, roll down the windows and test the mirror control switch for all functions on both mirrors, listening for the sound of the motors. If the motors are audible but the mirror glass remains stationary, the issue likely lies within the drive mechanism, necessitating removal and disassembly of the exterior mirror to diagnose and potentially fix the problem. If there is no sound from the mirrors, check the fuses. If the fuses are intact, remove the door trim panel and turn the ignition switch ON to check for battery voltage at the mirror switch's electrical connector PINK wire terminal. If voltage is absent, inspect the wiring for breaks or shorts, particularly in the harness between the body and door. If voltage is present, connect a jumper wire from the BLACK wire terminal to a good ground and use another fused jumper wire to connect the PINK wire terminal to the other terminals with the ignition ON. If the mirror motor operates, the switch should be replaced; if not, the mirror assembly may need replacement.

Take out the two screws securing the mirror bezel and detach it from the door.
