    A:
    Be very careful with the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor because if damaged will affect the working of the whole fuel injectors. First, one should free the cable from the negative terminal that is connected to the battery. Secondly, you must drain the engine coolant or for high temp maunal fan override this will turn off the electric fan. It is inserted through the right front corner of the top of the head, toward the back of the car, where the coolant filler neck is located; remove the electrical connector from the ECT sensor. To remove the ECT sensor unscrew it using a deep socket. When securing the new ECT sensor use Teflon tape on threads and make sure it is very tight. Last of all, refilling the cooling system and bleeding the cooling system.
