    Q:
How do you disconnect and replace the headlight switch, Hazard Warning Switch and power mirror control switch on Chrysler Town & Country? Posted by Customer
    A:
First of all, it becomes necessary to remove the cable that connects it with the negative terminal of batteries. Gently pull the headlight switch/rheostat panel with a trim removal tool and go on removing the electrical connectors of the power mirror switch, headlight switch, and rheostat by sliding the lock in the direction of harness, pressing the release tab and pulling the connector. To gain access for replacement of the headlight switch and rheostat or the power mirror control switch, the power mirror switch must be removed and this requires the following steps: The process of installation is as follows and it is the process in reverse of removal. Subsequently, re-secure the cable to the negative terminal of the battery, take out the center instrument panel bezel and eject the electrical connector with the help of the tab found at the rear of the hazard flasher switch. Pull out the hazard flasher switch panel from the center instrument panel bezel by unscrewing three screws and do the reverse of the above instructions for removing.

    Q:
How do you replace the wiper/washer switch on Dodge Grand Caravan? Posted by Customer
    A:
These models feature a multi-function lever on the left side of the steering column that manages the wiper/washer, turn signal, and dimmer switches. The wipers operate at two speeds with an intermittent function, controlled by a module located under the instrument panel or in the body computer. To begin, disconnect the negative cable from the battery, remove the steering column lower cover, and unplug the electrical connector. Check for continuity between the switch terminals at the electrical connector using an ohmmeter or self-powered test light, ensuring it meets the specified continuity for the four switch positions; replace the wiper/washer switch if continuity is not as specified. For replacement, follow the initial procedures to remove the steering wheel, detach the wiring harness trough, and unplug the electrical connector. Remove the lock housing cover screws and take off the cover, then pull out the switch hider for access. Detach the switch from the stalk by removing two screws and take off the wiper knob from the end of the stalk. Rotate the control stalk fully clockwise, align the slot and pin, and pull the stalk out. Installation follows the reverse order of removal.
