Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Remove the air inlet tube. Disconnect the wiring harness from the throttle body. Disconnect any vacuum lines from the throttle body. Remove the four mounting bolts and remove the throttle body. Thoroughly clean all sealing surfaces. Inspect the gasket/0-ring and replace it if necessary. Install the throttle body and tighten the bolts finger tight, then tighten them with a torque wrench. The remainder of installation is the reverse of removal. On 5.7L Hemi engines, take the vehicle to a dealer or other qualified service center that has the appropriate scan tool and have them perform the ETC Relearn function.

Remove the three or four mounting bolts and remove the throttle body. Remove the throttle body O-ring and inspect it for cracks, tears, and deterioration. Replace if damaged. Wipe off the gasket mating surfaces of the throttle body and the intake manifold.

Inspect the gasket/0-ring and replace it if necessary.

Disconnect any vacuum lines from the throttle body.
