    To remove the fuel tank:Support the fuel tank.Remove the fuel tank retaining strap bolts and both retaining straps.Carefully lower the fuel tank just enough to pull the fuel tank filler neck vent line through the gap between the floorpan and the left end of the rear suspension crossmember.Pull the EVAP vent line through the gap between the floorpan and the right end of the suspension crossmember.Ensure that everything is disconnected from the upper part of the tank before slowly lowering it.
