    The grid-type antenna is bonded to and is an integral component of the rear window glass; if the antenna is faulty, the rear glass must be replaced, a job best left to a professional. For the antenna module, first disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. The antenna module is mounted on the inside of the right C-pillar for 300, Charger, and 2011 and earlier Challenger models. Remove the right upper C-pillar trim, then disconnect the two antenna module electrical connectors from the antenna grid, along with the antenna coaxial cable and electrical connector from the module. Remove the antenna module mounting bolt and take out the module, with installation being the reverse of removal. For 2012 and later Challenger models, the antenna module is mounted to the rear of the roof panel, above the headliner. Begin by removing the rear seat back, followed by the grab handles and coat hooks from the sides of the headliner, and then the quarter trim panels. Using a trim panel tool, carefully pry the plastic retainers from the roof panel at the rear edge of the headliner. Disconnect the antenna module lead from the antenna grid terminal on the rear glass and detach the lead from the slot in the roof panel. Disconnect the wire harness electrical connector from the antenna module, remove the module mounting nut, and slide the module out from the welded stud on the left end, with installation being the reverse of the removal procedure. For wagons, the antenna module is mounted on the inside of the liftgate; remove the liftgate trim panel, disconnect the two antenna module electrical connectors from the antenna grid, and disconnect the antenna coaxial cable and electrical connector from the module. Remove the antenna module mounting bolt and take out the module, with installation being the reverse of removal.
