    Q:
How to remove the Fuel Injector and Fuel Rail on Chrysler 200? Posted by Customer
    A:
To relieve the fuel system pressure, disconnect the negative battery cable. If working on a V6 engine, remove the upper intake manifold or the air intake tube/resonator for a 2015 and later 2.4L engine. Disconnect the fuel delivery line quick-connect fitting and the fuel delivery line from the fuel rail. Disconnect the fuel injector electrical connectors and detach the injector wiring harness mounting clips from the fuel rail. Remove the fuel rail mounting bolts and carefully pull up on the fuel rail to remove it along with the injectors. Remove the O-rings from each injector and replace them with new ones coated in clean engine oil. Ensure the injector is properly seated in the mounting pipe. Reinstall the fuel rail and injectors, tightening the retaining bolts to the specified torque. Start the engine and check for leaks at the quick-connect fitting and the upper end of each injector.

Take out the ignition coils and clean any debris around the injectors. Detach the fuel rail and injectors as a unit. Disconnect the supply line and the electrical connectors from the injectors. Detach the fuel rail and injectors together.

Guide the injectors/fuel rail assembly into the injector bores on the intake manifold and tighten the fuel rail mounting bolts. After installation, turn the ignition switch to On to activate the fuel pump and check for fuel leakage.
