    First of all, to replace the high-pressure switch, you can disconnect the negative battery terminal. Unplug the connector from the AC pressure switch, located on the high-pressure line above the condenser or near the coolant reservoir. Unscrew the pressure cycling switch using a backup wrench to avoid damage. Lubricate the switch 0-ring with clean refrigerant oil. Screw the new switch onto the line until the screw is hand-tight, then tighten it securely with a backup wrench.

Discard the old 0-ring seal and replace it with a new one, lubricated with clean refrigerant oil. Screw the HVAC Pressure Switch back in place until hand tight, then tighten securely and reconnect the electrical connector.
