Loosen lug nuts, raise vehicle and remove front wheels. Disconnect air line and electrical connectors if equipped with air suspension. Mark camber cam position, remove strut-to-knuckle nuts, bolts, cam and washer plate. Disconnect brake hose bracket, remove upper mounting nuts and detach strut. Inspect for damage. If damaged, reposition strut, tighten nuts, reattach to knuckle and insert bolts. Attach brake hose bracket, install C-clamp on strut and knuckle. Align marks on cam and strut, tighten bolts and nuts. Reattach air line if necessary, recharge air spring before lowering vehicle. Reinstall wheels and lower vehicle.

Start by raising the rear of the vehicle and supporting it securely on jackstands. Then, support the axle with a jack and remove the rear wheels. If the vehicle is equipped with automatic air suspension, disconnect the fitting for the height sensor or the air lines from the shock absorbers. Remove the lower and upper shock mounting bolts and detach the shock absorber.

Make sure the spring ends mesh with the spring anti-rotation stops provided by the spring upper and lower seats.
