Sometimes, to remove a wiper blade, one is required to pull the wiper arm from the glass till it snaps into place, then push along a small lip to get the blade out of its groove. Although it is not always necessary to adjust wiper motor to wiper arm arms after replacement, it is necessary to align the wiper arm to the windscreen as it was before removing to avoid putting on the windscreen masking tape with an intended mark of the wiper arm to act as a guide when fixing. To uninstall wiper arm you unscrew the plastic cover from the screw-nut, lift the plastic cover, unscrew the nut and pull the arm from the spindle splines. Refitting is exactly the opposite to removal and excessive tightening of the wiper arm nuts should be avoided.
