After raising the vehicle and securing it on jackstands, remove the front wheels and tires.

To raise the engine slightly during the check, a jack is positioned under the engine oil pan, and a large wood block is placed between the jack head and the oil pan.

Use a large screwdriver or prybar to attempt to move the mounts.

For replacement, follow these steps: Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands (if not already done). Position a jack under the engine oil pan with a large wood block between the jack head and the oil pan. If you're removing the right side engine mount, remove the alternator support bracket. Remove the engine mount-to-subframe nuts and raise the engine with the jack. Remove the mount-to-engine bracket bolts. Install the new mount, making sure it is correctly positioned in the bracket. Install the fasteners and tighten them securely.

There are three powertrain mounts: left and right engine mounts attached to the engine block and to the subframe, and a rear mount attached to the transmission and the subframe.

The middle engine splash shield and the nuts holding the engine mounts to the subframe need to be removed.
