    Q:
How to remove and install the instrument panel on Dodge Grand Caravan? Posted by Customer
    A:
Disconnect the negative battery cable and have the air conditioning system discharged by a service station or an automotive air conditioning shop. Remove the instrument cluster bezel, steering column cover, and dashboard panels, followed by the relay panel above the glove box opening. Take out the left and right side cowl and scuff plate panels, then remove the hood release handle. Next, remove the center floor console, radio, and heater/air conditioner controls. Unplug the instrument panel bulkhead electrical connector and disconnect the heater/air conditioner electrical and vacuum lines. Remove the instrument panel top cover, loosen the left and right hand instrument panel pivot bolts, and take out the screws attaching the instrument panel to the cowl. Roll the instrument panel back for access and unplug any remaining electrical connectors. With an assistant supporting the weight, remove the pivot bolts and then take out the instrument panel from the vehicle. Installation is the reverse of removal.
