Be sure to read the label on the oil container to verify that it is compatible with the R-134a system before adding any of it to the system. Have the system discharged and the refrigerant recovered by an air conditioning technician. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

    Remove the front bumper cover and grill assembly. Remove the radiator support. Disconnect the automatic transaxle fluid cooler lines from the unit. Remove the refrigerant lines from the condenser. Plug all open fittings to prevent entry of dirt and moisture. Separate the condenser from the plastic clip-type retainers. Carefully pull straight up to release the condenser from the lower clips and then remove the condenser from the vehicle.
