Raise the vehicle, support it securely on jack stands and remove the front wheel. Remove the antenna if required. Remove the headlight. With the door open, remove the top rearmost fender bolt. The top rear fender bolt is accessible with the door open. Remove the front bumper fascia. Remove the front wheel opening molding if one is installed. Remove the inner fender splash shield. Remove the pin retainers from the inner fender splash shield and the lower rear section of the fender. Remove the two bolts from the lower rear part of the fender. Working inside the wheel opening, remove the bolts from the center rear part of the fender. Remove the inner fender splash shield to reach this fender bolt and the two at the front of the fender and the front mounting bracket. On models with fender-mounted batteries, remove the battery and the battery tray. Remove the four bolts from the top inner edge of the fender. There are four bolts along the top edge of the fender don't forget the one at the extreme rear. Detach the fender. It's a good idea to have an assistant support the fender while it's being moved away from the vehicle to prevent damage to the surrounding body panels. Installation is the reverse of removal.
