For the removal of the transaxle assembly, first of all, jack up the vehicle and then secure it properly on jackstands. If a manual transaxle is present, remove the pressure plate and the clutch disc; it may be advisable to inspect, or swap the clutch parts and the pilot bearing at this stage. Before you take off the flywheel/driveplate you should note the position to the crankshaft for correct alignment on assembly. Third, did the following to dismantle the flywheel / driveplate: Loosen and take out the bolts of flywheel / driveplate on crankshaft with the diameter of the tool applied at flywheel so that it should not turn or, if necessary, put an edge of screwdriver in between the ring gear teeth. Slowly remove the flywheel/driveplate and support it all over also for the last bolt due to its mass. Lubricate and wash the flywheel to remove all forms of grease and oil, check the flywheel/driveplate and crank shaft mating surfaces. In case the crankshaft rear main seal is worn or damaged by leakage, it should be replaced before fitting the flywheel or the driveplate. Regarding the installation of the flywheel/driveplate, fit it over the crankshaft in such a way that the marked positions coincide and apply the thread locking compound over the bolt threads; then tighten them to the recommended torque value while holding the flywheel/driveplate in its place. The rest of the operations are the reverse of the removal operation.
