The fuse block is located on the drivers side under the instrument panel and the circuits to be protected are marked on the cover of the fuse block. If a fuse blows it must be changed with another of the same capacity and if the fuse blows immediately after substitution then it is advisable to find out the root of the problem because bad insulation in the circuit wiring is a possibility. Also, there is a fusible link located close to the battery; if all the electrical circuitries have gone dead, and if the fusible link's insulation looks swollen and distorted, then there is a rather serious short-circuit condition on the power side. The solution to the problem of the short circuiting link should not be covered up by using adhesive to 'tape up' the bad link or replaced with ordinary wire; the reason as to why the link fused must be ascertained and solved and then the proper type of link must be procured and connected.
