- A:To remove the heater blower motor, disconnect the cable from the battery, remove the heater core housing, unscrew the blower motor screws, detach the fan retainer clip, and pull the motor off the cover. To install, place the motor in position and install the mounting screws. For 2007 and later models, remove the three mounting screws and lower the blower motor.
