To make room for the new pads, push the piston back into its bore using a C-clamp. Be cautious of the rising fluid in the master cylinder and siphon off some if needed. Proceed with the pad replacement procedure, ensuring to lubricate the bushings with high-temperature grease and install them along with the mounting bolts. Tighten the bolts to the specified torque. Once the job is complete, firmly depress the brake pedal a few times to bring the pads into contact with the disc. Check the brake fluid level and add more if necessary. Finally, carefully test the operation of the brakes before putting the vehicle back into normal service.
