To replace the windshield wiper motor one has to remove the cable from negative terminal of the battery. Gently unclipped the protective trim cap from each wiper arm and unbolt the wiper arm retaining nuts and now separate the wiper arms from their respective shafts, but ensure that you mark them. Next, the cowl cover has to be removed and then the electrical connector of the windshield wiper motor should be disconnected/loosened by just pressing the release tab. Lose the windshield wiper module mounting bolts and take off the module. Pull off the two link rods from the bell cranked by twisting with a trim removal tool or large screw driver, and next remove the nut on the bell cranked connecting to the motor shaft and simply pull the cranked with the help of a small puller off the wiper motor shaft. Unbolt the windshield wiper motor mounting and then pull out the wiper motor out of the module and also one should check the condition of the wiper motor rubber insulation for damage. As for the rear wiper motor on Magnum models, the operation is the same as with the previous model: disconnect the negative battery terminal, take off the trim cap and the retaining nut, indicate the position of the wiper arm in regard to the motor shaft, and remove the wiper arm. Remove the rear trim panel of the lift gate and then unplug the connector of the rear wiper motor then use the screw driver to take out the mounting bolts in order to take out the rear wiper motor. For the washer fluid reservoir and pump, they are located forward of the right front wheel, with the washer bottle; unlatch the negative terminal of the battery, and then the inner fender right splash shield fastener at front part. Make sure that there is a catch pan under the reservoir before you remove electrical connectors from the washer pump and the fluid level sensor, if they are connected. Remove the washer pump hoses, and if swapping the washer pump out, simply pull the new washer pump straight out of the reservoir grommet making sure it sits correctly. To access the reservoir, the mounting fasteners have to be loosened and the component slid out through the fenderwell; to reinstall it, the steps are similar, in reverse.
