The ambient temperature sensor is located on the trailing edge of the front bumper, below the right horn. Begin by raising the vehicle and securing it on jackstands. For 2014 and earlier models, remove the front splash shield that protects the area under the front part of the engine compartment, right behind the trailing edge of the front bumper cover. For 2015 and later models, remove the front grille. Next, disconnect the electrical connector from the ambient temperature sensor by depressing the tab and pulling off the connector, then pull out the pushpin and detach the sensor from the bumper. Detach the sensor mounting bracket pushpin from the bumper and remove the sensor. Installation is the reverse of removal.
