On electric shift models, connect the transfer case shift motor and transfer case sensor electrical connectors. Refill the transfer case with lubricant. Install the skid plate, if equipped.

Remove the jackstands and lower the vehicle. Connect the negative battery cable(s). Road test the vehicle for proper operation and check for leakage.
