Lubricate the lifters with clean engine oil and place them in the block, ensuring the original lifters are returned to their original locations with numbers facing up. Install the lifter rail and its mounting bolts.

After camshaft installation, you should install the timing chain and sprockets, aligning the timing marks.

Ensure that the rocker arm assembly is not placed upside down or rested on the lash adjusters to prevent potential damage.

Begin with cylinder number one and work on the rocker arms for one cylinder at a time, following the firing order sequence.

When removing and handling the lifters, ensure they are placed back into the same lifter bore and in the same direction. Mark each lifter and lifter rail for identification.
