Chrysler 300 Ambient Temperature Sensor Parts Questions & Answers

  • Q: How to Access the Ambient Air Temperature Sensor?
A: The ambient temperature sensor is located on the trailing edge of the front bumper, below the right horn. To access it, raise the vehicle and secure it on jackstands. Remove the front splash shield that protects the area under the front part of the engine compartment, right behind the trailing edge of the front bumper cover. Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor by depressing the tab and pulling off the connector. Then, remove the pushpin and detach the sensor from the bumper. Finally, install the sensor by reversing the removal process.
