    A: In this position, the following circuits are active, fuel pump relay, starter motor relay, the Powertrain Control Module, the Anti-lock Brake System control module and distributors for the V6 engine. The switch is positioned at the interior part of the steering column and its operation is based on the key lock Cylinder. Start by loosening the negative battery terminal from the ground stud on the left shock tower; then, take out the steering column shields. Third, unthread the key lock cylinder and also the screw that fixes the switch on the steering column. Pressing the retaining tabs, the switch should be taken down from the steering column, and the electrical connector disconnected from the ignition switch.
