Where is the ECT Sensor Located on Dodge Dakota?

The ECT sensor for the 3.7L V6 and 4.7L V8 engines is located at the front of the intake manifold. To remove, disconnect the electrical connector and unscrew it using a deep socket. Wrap the threads with Teflon sealing tape before installation. For the HEMI engine, the ECT sensor is located at the front of the engine block, under the air conditioning compressor. To access it, remove the drive belt and unbolt the compressor. Disconnect the electrical connector and unscrew the sensor using a deep socket.
