How to Replace the Rear Brake Disc and Parking Brake Shoes on Dodge Dakota?

Loosen wheel lug nuts, release parking brake, raise and support vehicle. Remove rear wheels, caliper and mounting bracket. Remove brake disc. Clean brake shoe assembly. Pull down on cable, clamp pliers and release from lever. Check disc hub for cracks, score marks, scratches and hard spots. Install new shoes, disc and caliper. Remove plugs, adjust star wheel until disc turns freely. Install plugs, wheels and lug nuts. Lower vehicle, tighten lug nuts. Operate parking brake lever, adjust cables. Check brake operation.
