Take off the timing belt and the sprocket of camshaft. Take the tip of a small screwdriver and wrap it with tape and use it to gently remove the seal, try as much as possible not to scratch the camshaft journal in order to avoid leakage. Scrub and inspect the seal bore on the camshaft and it's journal so that they are clean as well as smooth; wash off small burrs with emery cloth or 400-grit sand paper. Apply a thin film of clean engine oil, or moly-base grease to the lip of the new seal and gently drive the seal in place with a heavy socket or pipe and hammer; very lightly if no socket is available drive this lip around the outer circumference of the bearing bore with the large flared end of a punch not cocking the seal in the bore. After that, the camshaft sprocket and the timing belt must be installed; now start the engine and check for leaks.
