Where is the Camshaft Position Sensor Located on Dodge Nitro?

The camshaft position sensor determines fuel injection timing. On 2.4L four-cylinder engines, it is located on the right side of the cylinder head. On 3.7L V6 and 4.0L models, it is located at the front of the right-bank cylinder head and front-top of the timing belt cover, respectively. To remove, disconnect the electrical connector and follow specific steps. For installation, adjust the air gap and tighten the mounting bolts.
