A: Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Set the parking brake, raise the front of the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. Drain the cooling system to a level that is just below the upper radiator hose. Remove the air intake duct. Remove the close-out panel between the grille and the radiator support. Remove the hood latch. Remove the air dam lower fasteners and release the air dam from the fan shroud. Remove the upper radiator hose support bracket fastener, then disconnect the hose and position it out of the way. Remove the radiator support fasteners and remove the panel. Disconnect the cooling fan electrical connectors and harness retaining pins. Move the wiring harness away from the fan shroud. Release the upper clips and fasteners holding the fan assembly to the radiator. Remove the cooling fan assembly by pulling it straight up and out of the engine compartment. Installation is the reverse of removal. Place the fan assembly back into the retaining clips for the side and bottom. Refill the cooling system.
