How to Install an IAT Sensor on Jeep Patriot?

Unlock the retainers for the fresh air inlet duct, then disconnect the electrical connector from the Intake Manifold Temperature sensor. To remove the sensor, twist it counterclockwise and pull it out. Inspect the O-ring. Replace if cracked, torn or deteriorated. Installation is reverse of removal.
