- Q: What is the location and procedure for troubleshooting the back-up light switch on Ram 3500?A: There is a back-up light switch on the left side of the transmission case. When you see that vehicle, put the ignition key to "ON" position and shift lever in "REVERSE." If you find out that the back-up lights are not working, go and check for any blown fuse which should be located in the engine compartment fuse and relay box. When it happens, there could be something wrong with the circuit of the back-up light's fuse. However, when it is okay replace it if it becomes necessary.
