Raise vehicle securely onto jackstands if not removed yet when changing safety non-contacting indicator (reverse) lamp device; remove connection coming from behind such reverse electric illuminating component or assemble (screw off) being replaced afterwards by ATV sealant/ Teflon tape should be applied around fresh threadings which help to avoid any leaks; when this switch is finally put back into transmission case make sure that it is tightened firmly at torque. The remaining part of the installation process will therefore proceed in a reverse way from how we removed earlier on.
