    Pull off the door trim panel and the arm rest if any, also the door completion panel. Remove the push button control link, the outside handle link and lock cylinder link from the lock. Take out the four retaining screws and get the retainer loose at the remote control link of the remote handle lever. It might be possible to remove the assembly from the door at this stage. As for installation the process is inversely similar to the removal process, and, before installing trim and access panels the lock action should be tested.
