To replace the right mount, raise the vehicle, remove the power steering fluid reservoir, support the engine, and take out the engine mount bracket and the mount itself. Replace it with a new one and tighten the bolts.

To replace the front mount, the vehicle must be raised and supported securely, the weight from the mounts must be relieved, and the necessary bolts must be removed to install a new mount.

To check the mounts, the engine must be raised slightly to relieve weight from them. Begin by raising the vehicle and securely supporting it on jackstands. Then, remove the front wheels and tires. Position two jacks-one under the crankshaft pulley and the other under the transaxle bellhousing-using a block of wood to protect the components while raising the engine/transaxle just enough to relieve the mounts. Inspect the mounts for any cracks, hardened rubber, or separation from the metal plates, and check for movement between the mount plates and the engine or subframe. Tighten any loose fasteners as necessary. Applying rubber preservative can help slow deterioration.

Move the heater tube out of the way, then remove the engine mount bracket-to-timing cover support bolts and the engine mount bracket-to-mount bolts. Support the engine, remove the engine mount-to-body bolts, and the body-to-mount bolts from underneath. Replace the engine mount, tighten the body-to-mount bolts, lower the engine, and tighten the mount-to-bracket bolts. The installation follows the reverse order.

For the rear mount replacement, remove the throttle body air inlet tube and air filter housing, raise the vehicle, and remove the rear mount bracket-to-transaxle bolts. Separate the bracket from the mount, remove the mount-to-subframe mounting bolts, and replace the mount with a new one. Install the bracket and through-bolt to the mount, then install the mount to the subframe and transaxle, tightening all bolts to the specified torque.
