    Q:
What Are the Signs of a Failing Water Pump on Dodge Caravan? Posted by Customer
    A:
A failure in the water pump can lead to engine damage so be sure to check for a leak, remove the lower engine splash shield, and use a flashlight to look for traces of coolant residue. If the water pump shaft bearings do not work, there may be a howling sound near the water pump. If there is no heat output, it may indicate a failing water pump.

    Q:
How can you perform a quick water pump performance check for the 2003 Chrysler Town & Country? Posted by Customer
    A:
To perform a quick water pump performance check, ensure that the coolant level is full, start the vehicle and let it warm up fully, and turn on the heater in the passenger compartment. If there is little or no heat output, it may indicate a failing water pump as coolant flow does not appear to be going through the heater core.
