    Q:
How do you install the CMP sensor for the 2009 Dodge Durango? Posted by Customer
    A:
Apply a small dab of clean engine oil to the sensor 0-ring, then use a slight rocking motion to work the 0-ring into the sensor mounting bore. Do NOT use a twisting motion or you will damage the 0-ring. Make sure that the CMP sensor mounting flange is fully seated flat against the mounting surface around the sensor mounting hole. If the CMP sensor is not fully seated against its mounting surface, the sensor mounting tang will be damaged when the sensor mounting bolt is tightened to the specified torque. Installation is otherwise the reverse of removal. Be sure to tighten the CMP sensor mounting bolt to the torque.
