    On 948TE/9HP48 transaxles, the speed sensors are part of the valve body and must be removed to replace. For 40TE/41TE, the input sensor is closest to the engine, output on left. 62TE, input on top, output/transfer shaft on left rear. Disconnect electrical connector, remove retaining bolt, replace O-ring if reusing, and install following reverse of removal.
