    A:
When servicing the left shock absorber, remove the rubber hose between the fuel filler neck and the gas tank and move the filler neck aside. Remove the fasteners at the lower end of the shock and mark the subframe in relation to the chassis before removing the front and rear subframe fasteners on the side being worked on.

    Q:
How can fluid leakage in the shock absorbers be checked for the 2008 Dodge Magnum? Posted by Customer
    A:
Raise the vehicle and support it securely on jack stands to check the shock absorbers for evidence of fluid leakage. A light film of fluid is not a cause for concern, but if leakage is noted, the shocks should be replaced as a set. Also, check the shocks to ensure they are securely mounted and undamaged, and inspect the upper mounts for damage and wear.
