Install the oil control valves into the camshaft phasers and tighten them to the specified torque. Release the tensioner plunger and rotate the engine to verify the alignment marks.

Position the engine at TDC (Top Dead Center) for cylinder number 1, then proceed to remove the valve cover, rocker arms, and pushrods.
