Mopar 4578048AA Bracket-Engine Mount

Remove the engine mount and replace it with the new one. Tighten the upper bolts to the specified torque.

For replacement, follow these steps: Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands (if not already done). Position a jack under the engine oil pan with a large wood block between the jack head and the oil pan. If you're removing the right side engine mount, remove the alternator support bracket. Remove the engine mount-to-subframe nuts and raise the engine with the jack. Remove the mount-to-engine bracket bolts. Install the new mount, making sure it is correctly positioned in the bracket. Install the fasteners and tighten them securely.

If movement is noted during the mount inspection, lower the engine and tighten the mount fasteners.

Remove the bolts holding the engine mount to the frame.

There are three powertrain mounts: left and right engine mounts attached to the engine block and to the subframe, and a rear mount attached to the transmission and the subframe.

Raising the engine slightly during the check is done to remove the weight from the mounts, allowing for a proper inspection.
